Position Summary:

COR Medical Centers is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare, personal injury and rehabilitation, or customer service, such as Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Trainers, Spa Workers, or those with exceptional customer service skills. We have openings in Broward and Dade County: Sunrise, Hollywood, Hialeah, Homestead and Miami Gardens.
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our patients through their healing journey by assisting with therapy preparation, administering limited procedures under the supervision of the chiropractor, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation and Support: Prepare patients for therapy by guiding them through initial assessments, assisting with positioning, and ensuring they are comfortable during treatments.
- Assisting with Procedures: Under the supervision of the chiropractor, assist with basic chiropractic procedures, such as applying modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation), administering stretches, and assisting with other treatments as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on their treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to improve their well-being, ensuring they feel informed and confident about their care.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient scheduling, assist with intake forms, and provide other office support tasks as needed. You’ll also assist with maintaining patient records in an electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure every patient feels welcomed and valued, creating a positive and supportive experience in the office. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional, friendly manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chiropractors, front desk staff, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care.
- Continual Learning: Develop a strong understanding of chiropractic procedures and treatments. You will receive on-the-job training and guidance to enhance your skills and grow in your role.
Qualifications:
- Background in Healthcare, Personal Injury, or Customer Service: Experience as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Trainer, Spa Worker, or similar customer-facing or healthcare-related role is preferred but not required. We will provide training to the right candidate!
- Compassionate & Personable: A strong desire to help others and an ability to build rapport with patients. You should be empathetic, patient, and have a passion for improving people's lives.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers for scheduling, record-keeping, and learning an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow instructions, assist with procedures, and ensure patient records are properly maintained.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient movement for extended periods.
- Preferred (but not required): Previous experience in chiropractic care or an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
- Education: Highschool Diploma or GED
- Licenses: To be a Chiropractic Assistant for Personal Injury, you may not be a licensed LMT or have a current license as active or inactive.
