Type: HC-Temp to Perm OR PERM
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Summary:
To promote the mission to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member.
Responsible for the delivery of clinical services, to adolescents and their families who are either at risk for or actively engaging in substance use/abuse.
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

Actively participate in individual supervision/team meetings/department meetings
Provide timely feedback as to the status of the work you are doing
Provide input and raise questions
Ensure your knowledge of agency and program policies and procedures
Remain open and understand the rationale for decisions made. Follow through on decisions.
Complete task assignments within required time frame
Maintain high morale and cooperate with your team and with other departments

Ensure that quality services are continually provided:
Identify programmatic issues, develop recommendations and present them to your supervisor
Keep your supervisor informed of progress and issues
Adhere to your schedule to assure appropriate coverage at all times
Respond in a timely manner to program/departmental emergencies and unusual circumstances and inform your supervisor as soon as possible
Be conscientious and exhibit cost consciousness
Work cooperatively with other departments within client
Represent client and your program at both internal and external meetings, as requested
Submit leave requests in accordance with department procedures to assure that the needs of the department can be balanced with individual requests
Complete timekeeping per agency procedures
Attend all mandated trainings within required timeframe and request approval for staff development opportunities as relevant to promote growth and skill building
Performing all other duties as assigned
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Provide individual, family, couple and group therapy for adolescents and their families utilizing approved treatment modalities and interventions
Provide case management services for assigned youth
Be aware of clients' financial liabilities, coordinate any financial changes with client Billing Department, and assist clients in securing third party resources when indicated
Complete all required documentation including treatment plans, assessments, annual reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance with client policies and procedures
Contribute to any quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking, development and data gathering as assigned
Collect all pertinent information and provide comprehensive assessments in accordance with client policies and procedures
Be flexible in scheduling appointments to meet youth/family needs
Meet productivity standards for your position
Work 2 3 evenings per week.
Skills:
PA State License
Experience working with youth/ families
Master's degree in human services field from an accredited college or university
Knowledge of substance use issues and treatment; excellent interpersonal skills
Basic Computer skills
Consistently display a positive attitude
Exercise sound judgment
Demonstrate effective communication skills
Maintain a professional demeanor
Demonstrate integrity
Take initiative
Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills
