Job Title: Child Life Specialist

Job Summary: The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing therapeutic play opportunities and assisting children with coping skills before, during, and after medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate developmentally appropriate play and creative expression activities.
• Prepare children for medical procedures through education and support.
• Assess individual needs and develop tailored coping strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
• Provide emotional support to children and families.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development, or related field.
• Certification as a Child Life Specialist (CCLS) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
