Lifelong Access is seeking a full-time Office Manager for main office front desk operations. This position performs a critical role in making sure the front office operations are running smoothly, efficiently and with a high level of customer service. The Office Manager will be the primary point of contact to greet and direct visitors, answer phone calls, and handle or delegate all front office administrative operations. Position reports to the Chief of Staff and there will be a lot of variety in tasks and opportunities to work closely with the marketing, philanthropy and human resources team. Position will handle highly confidential information, and will interact with the CEO and other executives on a regular basis. This position may also assist with the planning and execution of projects and events.
This is a one-person front office position where a customer service approach and attention to detail is vital. There will be a lot of variety where you will have the opportunity to work

Qualifications for this position include:High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum one year experience working in an office setting, with some front desk receptionist experience needed.Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Experience working with standard office equipment, including multi-line phone system, copier, fax.Strong organizational skills and attention to details.Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to work effectively despite interruptions and distractions.Ability to function and work both independently and as a collaborative team member.Effective listening and interpersonal communication skills.Valid Illinois driver's license with safe driving record.Current proof of automobile insurance.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee will have prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computer. Employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift to 15 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
