Child & Adolescent Therapist-Pender County - Coastal Horizons Center

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. has an opportunity for a Day Treatment Therapist to join our Day Treatment team in Pender County. Therapist provides a full range of substance use and mental health disorder therapeutic services for children, adolescents and their families. Primary duties include counseling children, adolescents and their families- with much of this taking place at various school sites. Performs regular therapist functions during school vacation and summer months.

Required Educational/ Experiential Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited program with a Master's degree in a human services or related field and two (2) years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of North Carolina licensures as on of the following: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
