Position: The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, WCMHS’s outpatient division, is currently seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team. You will have the opportunity to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for youth ages 6-22 experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or psychological challenges from a trauma-informed lens. This is an office-based,40hr/week position. The clinician in this role will have extensive opportunities for learning from a wide variety of experienced clinicians through ample group and individual supervision and on-going trainings provided by the agency at no cost. CCPS offers clinicians a training budget to support learning and training in various clinical topics of interest and/or for CEU’s. CCPS is able to provide the necessary individual and group supervision towards LICSW, LCMHC, and Psychologist licensure.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or associated field
- License eligible - MSW, LICSW, LCMHC, LPMA, or MFT preferred
- At least one year experience providing psychotherapy (more experienced clinicians encouraged to apply)
Physical Requirements: The role may involve the following physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks.
- Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone.
- Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks.
- Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations.
