About the Job
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Provider will provide patient and family-centered care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric services. This will include the assessment and treatment of psychiatric diagnoses, as well as coordination with other members of the care team, including Trilogy and non-Trilogy clinical staff. This individual will diagnose, prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications for these disorders. The Psychiatric Provider will collaborate with the other members of the inter-professional treatment team; including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Recovery Counselors, or other internal/external treatment professionals to coordinate treatment plans and progress in an integrated health framework of care. They will also meet the required standards of Outreach programs and grants and comply with the specifications and terms.
If the provider is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, they will consult with the assigned Collaborating Physician as needed and appropriate and will obtain full practice authority when eligible. They will provide information needed for credentialing to the agency or to established partner agencies and follow all required reporting guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and provide psychopharmacological and other psychiatric treatments for assigned caseload of clients within psychiatric scope.
• Order and interpret appropriate consultations, diagnostic testing, and laboratory results
• Work with primary care providers and therapists to develop treatment plans
• Advise and inform clients, families, schools and other appropriate members of the client’s care team of their condition and treatment plan as appropriate
• Provide remote and on-site clinical care Participate in the educational experience of employees, students, or trainees as directed. Educate Trilogy clinical employees to support client treatment plans.
• Provide client-centered and trauma-informed services to clients with mental illnesses who may have concurrent substance use disorders and medical comorbidities.
• Attend required meetings.
• Be proactive and constructive in identifying quality improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions.
• Complete all work as assigned on-time, including timely and thorough documentation.
• Work in locations and days as assigned by supervisor.
• Achieve clinical productivity standards (encounter rates) and performance objectives as per leadership/organization
• Stay apprised of latest standards of care, evidence-based practices, and incorporate into the practice, sharing with colleagues as appropriate.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• M.D./D.O. degree from an ACGME or AOA accredited medical college required.
• Board Certification and/or Board Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Unrestricted license as a Physician in the State of Illinois.
• Previous experience working with community mental health populations preferred
• Spanish a plus

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing, with a concentration in
Psychiatry or Mental Health.
• Exam certified as a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Specialty Training in Child and Adolescent Care
• Unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Illinois
• Previous experience working with community mental health populations preferred
• Spanish a plus
