Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Independent healthcare provider working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
+ Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families.
+ Works with administrative, nursing, physician, and university faculty to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote educational and research missions.
+ Provides care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements.
+ Orders appropriate diagnostic studies and correctly interprets results.
+ Develops, implements, evaluates, and alters the plan of care as needed.
+ Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
+ Provides care that is patient and family centered, compassionate, appropriate and effective for the promotion of health, prevention of illness and treatment of disease throughout the lifespan.
+ Communicates and collaborates effectively with physicians, other health professionals and health related agencies.

Instructor:
+ 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.
+ Applicants must possess a Colorado RN license and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent certification. Prescriptive authority is required.
+ PA applicants must be nationally certified by the NCCPA and have passed the Psychiatry Specialty Exam (CAQ).
+ Must have prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting (may include experience as a RN prior to APRN training).
Sr. Instructor:
+ 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.
+ Applicants must possess a Colorado RN license and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent certification. Prescriptive authority is required.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team model and with colleagues, medical specialists, and trainees
+ Commitment to multiculturalism and experience with diverse populations
+ Ability to deliver services in Spanish is preferred
