This role offers a relocation package, a Monday-to-Friday schedule with 2-3 flying days per week, and ensures you're home every evening. Flights require a two-pilot crew. Candidates must reside within one hour of the terminal.
Overview:Provide leadership and management oversight of the Pilots and aircraft at Sheetz to include cultivating Sheetz “DNA” and creating a culture that strives for a “Best Practices” level of operational safety.
Responsibilities:1. Instructing flight crews in the use of the standard operating procedures (SOP) manual and measuring effectiveness. Define measureable individual performance goals, monitor and communicate via regular feedback and annual performance reviews. Provide coaching and developmental opportunities for all direct reports and provide oversight of department personnel training as required by Federal Aviation Regulation and company policy. Establish and supervise the initial and recurrent training of aviation department personnel, both internally and externally with a professional training facility
2. Safely conduct flight operations in compliance with Federal, State, Local and foreign regulations as well as policies and procedures contained in the Company operations manual.
3. Ensure that Sheetz Corporate aircraft and facility are maintained to a high standard and in compliance with Federal, State, and local codes and regulations.
4. Assist in the record keeping requirements of the department are maintained as required by the FARs, manufacturers, and company policies, including lease agreements, employee and independent contractor records and aircraft records. Assist in technical audits and communication of results. Prepare and distribute periodic reports and statistics as required. Assist in the planning , budgeting and monitoring efforts of the department.
5. Assist in the development and maintenance of all company Aviation department manuals, setting forth flight operations guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. Set standards for Pilot staff.
6. Represent the company in aviation matters through trade associations, the FAA, state or municipal aviation bodies, airport management, community organizations and contract agencies, while remaining informed of the latest developments within the business aviation community, including the FARs, and other Federal, state, local and foreign regulations affecting operations. Act as liaison between government officials and aviation industry representatives on behalf of Sheetz, Inc.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Management from an Accredited College/University or CTM required Associate degree and CAM certification considered equivalent
• Working towards completion of CAM certification preferred
Experience
• Minimum of 7 years as Pilot in Command of multi engine turbine aircraft operating in a crew environment required.
Licenses/Certifications
• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings and limitations, or equivalent experience.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit or higher.
• Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher.
