Opening Doors began in 1993 as a small refugee resettlement agency, and today serves over 3,000 clients per year across our 5 program areas: Refugee Programs, Survivors of Trafficking Programs, Immigration Legal Services, Health Programs and Economic Prosperity Programs.

They will have experience providing day-to-day and strategic leadership in complex nonprofit organizations. They will be a humble team player with strong interpersonal skills who can effectively collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds and experience levels.

Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:•Contribute to the development of Opening Doors' strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
•Provide day-to-day internal operational leadership of the organization.
•Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance, operations, and human resources teams.
•Provide leadership over the grant opportunity lifecycle, including oversight of institutional fundraising and grant compliance.
•Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable financial, legal, and regulatory requirements and best-practice standards, as well as grant specific requirements. Ensure strong internal controls.
•Oversee internal and external financial monitoring, financial reviews, annual audits, and annual tax form preparation.
•Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, revenue projections, and organizational budget.
•Oversee the management of subsidiary companies and properties in all aspects of fiscal, operations, and human resources.
•Oversee Community Development Financial Institution financial activities, including loan reconciliation and revenue projections.
•Maintain continuous lines of communication with the leadership team, keeping the CEO informed of critical issues.

Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.•Leadership experience in non-profit or governmental organizations, including experience in several of the following areas: Team leadership, project management, grants management, information systems and technology, facilities management, government contract administration and negotiation, private funding compliance and fiscal management.
•Strong ability to coach staff to manage and develop high-performance teams and develop and implement program strategies.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to work successfully with diverse teams.
•Excellent attention to detail, financial analytical skills, and ability to problem solve.
•Experience with and understanding of GAAP and GAAS policies and procedures.
•Strong organizational skills in a complex, multi-tasking environment and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
•Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office Suite, expert knowledge in QuickBooks software, and willingness to learn other programs maintained by the Organization.
•Ability to make sound decisions and use accurate judgement.
Preferred Qualifications: The requirements listed below are not required but are desired.•Leadership experience in a direct service organize with a complex array of programs with the ability to leverage strengths across program and functional areas.
•Demonstrated experience with Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200.
•Experience with small business lending and/or microenterprise loan programs.
•Effective communication skills in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Farsi/Dari, Hmong, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Ukrainian or Vietnamese.
