About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer/General Manager to lead the strategic vision and flawless execution of its premier outdoor festivals and events. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, and daily management of large-scale, high-profile festivals, ensuring operational excellence in all aspects, including vendor coordination, artist relations, venue management, and event staff oversight. This pivotal role demands a leader with extensive experience in the live music industry, exceptional project management, and leadership skills, who can navigate the complexities of large event logistics while maintaining the highest standards. The COO/GM will also be tasked with driving innovation, expanding the event portfolio, and managing comprehensive budgets to maximize profitability. Applicants for the COO/GM position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within the live music or entertainment sectors, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in budget management, in-depth knowledge of live music production processes, and a strong network of professional relationships within the industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, and be adept at managing relationships with artists, vendors, staff, and local authorities.
