Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the organization’s daily operations and drive its overall efficiency. As the second-in-command, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s operational excellence and long-term growth. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual who can manage diverse business functions while fostering a culture of high performance and alignment with the organization’s vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies, operational plans, and procedures to achieve company goals.
- Establish and monitor comprehensive performance metrics and growth objectives.
- Create and enforce policies that align with the company’s culture and strategic vision.
- Oversee daily business operations, providing direction to executive leaders in IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other departments.
- Inspire and lead employees to achieve maximum performance and dedication.
- Analyze operational performance and provide insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to the CEO on all critical business matters.
- Assist the CEO with strategic initiatives and executive responsibilities as required.
- Spearhead expansion efforts, including investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of key business functions, including HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
- Proven experience in international business operations.
- Expertise in ensuring compliance with national and local regulations, with the ability to take corrective actions when needed.
- Strong competency in strategic planning, business development, and execution.
- Proficient in analyzing performance data and operational metrics to guide decision-making.
- Familiarity with IT systems, business infrastructure, and advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in complex, fast-paced environments.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (required).
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, MSc, or JD (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Must meet the legal definition of a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C § 6010.
