Job Description:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our flooring company. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure efficient processes, manage resources effectively, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the flooring or building materials industry and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the operations team, including scheduling, production, and quality control
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and performance
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the flooring or building materials industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in operations management software and tools
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
