CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Team to:
- Provide strong leadership skills and the ability to approach the business with a creative point of view.
- Lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective delivering on the vision, mission and objectives as set out by the President and Chief Executive Officer.
THE POSITION
CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who:
- Collaborates with the President and CEO to set and drive organizational vision, operations strategy, culture and organizational alignment.
- Translates strategy into actionable steps for execution excellence, growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and ongoing Operations planning.
- Implements business strategies and plans which align with the short and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the President and CEO.
- Oversees Company Clinical Operations Programs and employee productivity, building highly engaged team members, who exceed organizational goals and perform with excellence.
- Increases sufficiency and lean processes to continuously improve Company performance.
- Develops educational and individual Career Pathway Plan for key positions to ensure there is always a Succession Plan in place for key positions.
- Develops and implements plans and budgets for organizational growth.
- Develops, implements and continually updates and communicates policies and procedures for the successful execution of operations for individuals served ensuring organization-wide balance, alignment and the removal of any identified barriers.
- Develops and oversees ongoing reporting mechanisms demonstrating point-in-time performance to service and quality expectations, as well as preparing and recognizing developing trends.
- Analyzes internal operations and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction, executing improvement initiatives.
- Develops the organizational structure, allocation of responsibilities and separation of duties to drive organizational performance.
- Builds and maintains Programs and Relationships with prospective and contracted partners that ensures compliance, continued renewals, and organic growth.
- Develops policies, procedures and reporting to drive effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of the Operations organization.
- Evaluates and implements increases in Company and Employee licensure, certifications and credentialing.
- Ensures compliance with national and local business regulations, customer/client contracts and take appropriate action when necessary for continuous improvement.
- Oversees and ensures that Clinical Teams, Supervisors, Management and other CareStars are participating in local advocacy and support groups driving the recognition of CareStar’s brand and knowledge of community resources.
- Builds and maintain trusting relationships with senior executives, employees, key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Be flexible to allow maximum access and availability.
- Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality as related to patient, client and business information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master's Degree in Business, Health Services Administration, Nursing, Social Work or other industry-related field is required.
- Prior track record of business success, including experience at the Executive level and at least 15 years total experience.
- Ability to consistently perform at an intense, fast pace, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong advocate, role model and proponent of CareStar Mission, Culture and Values.
- Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in their work and demands the same from the organization and others.
- Experience leading others to new levels of effectiveness, efficiency and programmatic impact.
- Strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging community partners, and partnering with the President and CEO.
- Demonstrate tangible experience with reporting, program measurement, evaluation and improvement.
- Demonstrated experience and success driving organizational development, performance management and succession planning initiatives.
- Familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office Programs, other applications used by CareStar and other applications as needed or added by the Company.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by State law.
- Ability to travel via multiple modes of transportation, including, but not limited to, plane and car.

This position is open in Cincinnati, OH and will be an office-based position.
