As we continue to expand our operations and impact, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief of Staff to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward.
Role Description: The Chief of Staff will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role requires a strategic thinker and versatile leader who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive organizational priorities, streamline operations, and ensure alignment with our mission and goals. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of organizational management, including but not limited to:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives and operational plans that advance the organization's mission and objectives.
- Monitor progress against strategic goals, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments as needed to optimize performance and outcomes.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Foster collaboration and communication across departments to promote synergy and alignment of efforts.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and other team members to ensure effective information flow and execution of key initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and initiatives to address organizational challenges and opportunities.

Project Management and Execution:
- Lead and/or support strategic projects and initiatives from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Develop project plans, establish timelines, allocate resources, and track progress against milestones to drive accountability and results.

Organizational Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and best practices in healthcare administration and governance.
- Oversee risk management activities and implement protocols to mitigate risks and safeguard organizational assets.

Executive Support:
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and executive leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, public health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare organization, non-profit sector, or startup environment.
- Proven track record of driving strategic planning, project management, and organizational development initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information to inform decision-making and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for improving healthcare delivery for veterans.
- Experience working with veterans or in the military healthcare system is a plus.
