The Position – Chief of Staff/Office Manager
The Chief of Staff (COS) at The TASC Group plays a critical role managing the CEO’s office operations and supporting all day-to-day office management roles. The COS will possess effective written and verbal communication and time management skills. They must exercise great attention to detail and function as a project manager on key CEO office projects. They must have the ability to balance operations from the CEO’s office with day-to-day office management needs. A successful COS will streamline tasks for the CEO and ensure efficiency and productivity in the office. They will work with supervision and direction from the CEO and senior leadership.

CEO Office Operations, TASC Marketing and New Business Operations
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s schedule
- Oversee the CEO’s calendar and provide daily reminders for events and meetings
- Coordinate travel arrangements for CEO
- Supervise and delegate website updates and SEO work
- Oversee and manage newsletter efforts with approval from CEO and support from TASC marketing team
- Lead the new business team along with the chairman and president with new business research, development, vetting potential inquiries and managing new business operations
- Manage and update the new business CRM tool
- Work the TASC as a Client team on TASC’s own PR and thought leadership development work
- Oversee awards applications for The TASC Group
- Manage the overall implementation of the internship program with junior personnel running the day-to-day tactical work
Office Management Responsibilities
- Schedule team meetings including all-staff weekly meetings or training sessions
- Plan team events including team retreats or office outings
- Oversee office and kitchen supply inventory
- Coordinate team lunches
- Work with internship staff to maintain office cleanliness
- Troubleshoot with IT team any office technology issues (printer, internet connection, etc.)
- Work with the landlord and super of the building to address any office or facility issues
