Are you a dynamic, passionate, and experienced psychiatrist looking for a leadership role? We are currently seeking a Chief of Psychiatry to spearhead and manage our Behavioral Health Services. This is a unique opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to apply their clinical and leadership skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of outpatient psychiatric services, executing psychiatric evaluations, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance our behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
As the Chief of Psychiatry, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing dynamic leadership in the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies that enhance Behavioral Health Services.
2. Overseeing the delivery of outpatient psychiatric services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
3. Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulating treatment plans for patients.
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration and effectiveness of psychiatric services across the continuum of care.
5. Participating in the recruitment, selection, and development of psychiatrists and other behavioral health professionals.
6. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to psychiatric services.
7. Serving as a mentor and resource to staff, promoting continuous professional development and excellence in psychiatric care.
8. Engaging in ongoing performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of psychiatric services.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Chief of Psychiatry, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of an approved psychiatric residency program.
2. Must be board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
3. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, with a strong background in outpatient services and behavioral health.
4. Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a chief of psychiatry or similar role.
5. Strong knowledge of psychiatric evaluation techniques and treatment planning.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
7. A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of our patients.
8. A proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives and driving performance improvement in a psychiatric setting.
9. Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state.
