Job Details
- Under indirect supervision, provides professional medical physics services for Radiation Oncology in accordance with the highest standards of practice and as required by regulatory agencies.
- Collaborates with medical providers in the design, evaluation and modification of effective radiation treatments for patients; oversees and monitors treatment plans developed by dosimetrists, participates in the evaluation, acquisition and operation of equipment or systems to include equipment monitoring, calibration, and safety surveys.
- Supervises staff physicists and dosimetrists.
