Job Summary
As the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Associate Dean for Maternal and Child Health, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and direction of our Maternal and Child Health programs. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee the integration and growth of clinical programs across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and program development to enhance the growth and sustainability of our Maternal and Child Health Enterprise.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure outstanding patient care and the education of future physician leaders.
Serve as a liaison between academic institutions and our organization, advocating for academic priorities and faculty retention.
Oversee regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives to maintain our leadership in clinical excellence.
Partner with stakeholders to advance health equity initiatives and reduce healthcare disparities within our community.
Provide leadership in clinical program development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Support Graduate Medical Education initiatives to uphold the highest standards of education and care.
Minimum Qualifications
MD degree or equivalent, with eligibility for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor at a university.
Advanced degree in health care administration, business administration, or public health preferred.
Extensive experience as a physician leader within a complex healthcare system, focusing on quality improvement and clinical excellence.
Current Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) licensure.
Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to drive innovative initiatives in pediatric research, education, and clinical care.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of healthcare payment methodologies.
Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex strategies and goals.
