Your New Role

As Chief Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and providing engineering solutions for projects within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering consultancy in Connecticut. A staple of the local engineering community, this company has a healthy pipeline of Healthcare projects including hospitals, labs, medical facilities, along with school and municipal projects. Your responsibilities will include project management, collaborating with other Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to execute tasks related to design.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Relevant experience in mechanical design for MEP systems and MEP Consulting
• Experience People Managing a Team of Design Engineers
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Strong technical proficiency in Design Engineering
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
