CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER at Cella

Compensation Range: $175,000 - 240,000 per year

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Chief Marketing Officer based in Rockville, MD! The CMO is responsible for brand management and strategic marketing planning and oversees market research, customer experience, public relations, advertising and sales for the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and deliver measurable results.
2. Collaborate with the senior executive team to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
3. Create and execute annual marketing plans to support overarching business objectives.
4. Build and execute strategies to enhance brand positioning, differentiation, and awareness while measuring campaign effectiveness.
5. Partner with key stakeholders to develop brand initiatives that align with strategic priorities.
6. Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand awareness through targeted marketing initiatives, market research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
7. Develop strategic marketing plans tailored to the target audience and aligned with company objectives.
8. Oversee the execution of effective campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive sales growth.
9. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and marketing spend achieves maximum ROI.
10. Foster relationships with business partners, vendors, and media outlets to amplify marketing reach and impact.
11. Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, IT, and Customer Service, to ensure a cohesive approach to market demands.
12. Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team spanning creative services, continuing education, corporate events, and sales promotions, fostering excellence and innovation.
13. Ensure consistent messaging across platforms, including websites, FAQs, tutorials, email campaigns, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, collateral, social media, and blogs.
14. Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining consistent brand identity and values across all communication channels.
15. Optimize multi-channel marketing efforts to effectively engage target audiences.
16. Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, data analytics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
17. Curate pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.
18. Build and nurture strategic partnerships with agencies, vendors, and influencers to enhance brand reach and recognition.
19. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to ensure innovative and effective strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. 10-15 years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles, such as Marketing Officer or equivalent.
3. Demonstrated success in developing, managing, and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors.
4. Expertise in public relations, business development strategies, customer experience enhancement, analytics, and data-driven marketing.
5. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and grow marketing teams.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external partners.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
