Chief Human Resource Officer
Location: Eagle Physicians, Greensboro, NC
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Supervision Exercised: Human Resources Manager and others as assigned
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement HR plans and policies in collaboration with the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Provide visionary leadership to support patient-centered, quality-driven care.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Engage in succession planning and support the growth and empowerment of senior subordinates.
- HR Management:
- Oversee benefits, compensation, compliance, recruiting, and other HR functions.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
- Manage employee benefits and business insurances, including professional liability.
- Conduct internal investigations regarding claims of harassment or unfair employment practices.
- Culture & Community:
- Promote and maintain a culture of trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Establish strong working relationships with employees, physicians, and the community.
- Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Operational Excellence:
- Maximize HR efficiencies to enhance patient care and work environments.
- Lead recruitment efforts for physicians, advanced practice providers (APP), and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA).
- Coordinate marketing efforts with the CEO and others.
- Ensure HR compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; MSHR, MBA, or MHA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience as a CHRO or HR Director, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Certifications:
- Required: SHRM-CP or HCRI-PHR.
- Preferred: SHRM-SCP or HCRI-SPHR.
