Analytica is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Chief Growth Officer to lead and expand our presence in the federal civilian marketplace. As part of a rapidly scaling technology professional services firm, the CGO is a pivotal leader driving profitable revenue growth, expanding business partnerships, and enhancing the company's competitive position in both current and emerging small business and full and open markets.
This role requires a player-coach with deep expertise in the government technology services space, capable of driving complex, large program opportunities in a highly competitive market.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site at the Bethesda, MD office.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy focused on civilian and homeland security account verticals and company capabilities that will drive competitive advantages and growth.
- Identify emerging trends and align business offerings to meet government needs.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set annual and long-term growth targets.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure growth and business development performance, pipeline status, and revenue targets to the executive team.
- Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to position the organization effectively.
- Provide insights into legislative, regulatory, and budgetary changes affecting government contracting.
- Business Development and Capture Management
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and identifying and implementing strategies leading to the submission of proposals with a high win probability.
- Lead business development efforts to identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities.
- Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and capture activities for government contracts.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities across federal, state, and local markets.
- Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate relationships with key government clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Champion strategic partner, customer, and employee relations which promote value-based business development and external revenue growth.
- Represent the organization at industry events, government forums, and networking opportunities.
- Partnerships and Alliances
- Attend key regional and nation-wide industry events and conferences, representing Analytica and our value to potential clients
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with other contractors, small businesses, and suppliers.
- Negotiate teaming agreements and subcontracting opportunities to expand market reach.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing growth team, including business development, capture, and proposal professionals.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure effective performance and career progression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in business development, capture, and proposal within the government contracting sector.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maturing growth organizations within companies operating in the small business and mid-tier large business operating environment.
- Proven track record of closing large, complex federal deals of more than $50M.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, including FAR, DFAR, and other compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS, BPA, and IDIQs.
- Experience with small business or set-aside programs (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB).
- Technical understanding of solutions in IT, software engineering, data, AI or other government-focus areas.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
