Duties and responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the organization
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business development strategies
- Manage cost management initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and profitability
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure business continuity
- Ensure accurate and timely technical accounting, tax accounting, and regulatory reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, including board members and investors
- Stay up-to-date with financial concepts, trends, and regulations to provide informed guidance
Requirements
- Senior leadership: Proven experience in a senior leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a finance team
- Business development: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic initiatives
- Cost management: Expertise in managing costs across various departments or business units to optimize resources
- Risk management: Ability to assess risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with risk management frameworks
- Technical accounting: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Tax accounting: Proficiency in tax regulations and compliance requirements to effectively manage tax planning and reporting
- Regulatory reporting: Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory reports in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Financial report writing: Excellent written communication skills to prepare comprehensive financial reports for various stakeholders
- Financial concepts: Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and ROI analysis
- Cost accounting: Familiarity with cost accounting methodologies to analyze costs, allocate expenses, and support decision-making
