A leading Community Action Agency located in Southeast Missouri is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our operations and the communities we serve across six counties. The CFO will report directly to the President and CEO and will play a critical strategic role in the financial management and leadership of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic partner on the executive team, with primary responsibility for overseeing all financial aspects of the agency.
Lead, supervise, and mentor the fiscal team, ensuring adherence to the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports, analysis of budgets, and strategic forecasts.
Manage and oversee all functions within the Finance and Accounting departments, ensuring integrity and compliance with multiple funding sources, including federal and state government contracts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Fiscal Management; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an accounting or financial setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a Community Action Agency or similar nonprofit setting is highly desired.

Strategic thinker with the capability to solve complex problems.
