Chief Financial Officer - Jessie Trice Community Health System. Inc.

Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc (JTCHS) is one of Miami-Dade County’s preeminent federally qualified community healthcare centers, governed by a remarkably dedicated Board of Directors (51% of which are users of the medical and dental services) and a diverse, incredibly talented, committed family of providers and staff.

The 1 ^st Federally Qualified Health Center in the state and 5 ^th in the nation, Jessie Trice Community, Inc. is a Florida 501c3, not-for-profit organization that has been serving Miami-Dade County since 1967.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position is an executive position critical to the success of Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc. (JTCHS), its mission and strategic goals. Candidate will report to the President & CEO and works collaboratively with other Executive Team members and is responsible for communication of financial information to all level employees. The CFO has major responsibilities in areas of accounting, finance, operations, managed care and purchasing.

Education & Skills

Master’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience. CPA preferred but not required.

Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in a safety–net healthcare organization or hospital with multiple federal, state and local governmental funding streams, private insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

Additional executive/senior management level experience may replace some of the educational requirements.

Experience to include executive or senior manager level experience supervising other leaders. Experience with a FQHC or “FQHC look-a-like”.

Must be technology savvy especially using Excel Spread Sheets and with computerized ledger systems, familiarity with SAGE 300 would be a plus.

Exceptional leadership skills with experience supervising finance teams.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
