Job Description Summary
Provides overall financial leadership to GE Healthcare’s ISC & GS. As a member of the ISC & GS leadership team, responsible for partnering across the value stream to drive organic growth, organic margin expansion and free cash flow conversion. Manages leaders (6 directs) and teams of > 50 finance professionals. Over $6B global Services Business. With 300+ global sites including manufacturing. Centralized sourcing and global AP team. Orders operations. Logistics, real estate & facilities operation. Inventory and capex spend company-wide. Integrated business planning (IBP), Environmental, health & safety (EHS) teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in delivering on quarterly financial targets and estimates, building annual operating plans/forecasts, and develops multi-year financial outlooks for ISC & GS aligned to strategic plans.
- Experience developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement.
- Experience in leading global / remote teams.
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values.
- Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional workflows.
- Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
- Identify, attract and retain a team of top Finance talent and drive business results through their contributions; maintain a collaborative working environment and a culture that values diversity, inclusion and equity.
- Ensure integrity is upheld throughout all processes, policies and practices, by ensuring appropriate communication, training and prioritization of related activities.
- Lead simplification and automation of monthly closing processes for ISC & GS to improve linearity, increase visibility and reduce manual work.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving rigor and simplifying key financial processes within the accountability.
- Provide financial analysis, insight and expertise in support of business decision making needs, including evaluation of risks and opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 10 years of financial work experience; or high school diploma and minimum of 15 years of financial work experience.
- Manage all reporting and statutory requirements - internal to business, within GE HealthCare.
- Strategic Finance management, with authority to make policy decisions covering multiple areas of finance.
- Direct or indirect leadership experience of a global team.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles.
- Ability to drive profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions.
- Finance liaison for all Business Development & Acquisition, Integration and Divesting activities for ISC & GS.

- Experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and clearly communicate (written, verbal) in a global team environment.
- Experience adding financial expertise and strategic value to operating teams.
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Clear thinking/problem-solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions involving process improvements.
