We are seeking a CFO to be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company's operations in all business sectors, including international. The CFO, reporting to the CEO, will contribute to the executive management team with strategy, leadership, and coordination in administrative, P&L business planning, accounting and growth efforts.
For contributions to corporate success, the CFO will be rewarded through salary increases and bonus awards. Military experience is a plus when combined with required industry experience. Position comes with a Hire-in bonus of $10K.
This is not a teleworking position. Duty site is S3 Headquarters at 615 Discovery Drive, Huntsville, AL.
Description:
The CFO provides strategic level leadership, vision, and management to provide operational control, administration and reporting to the CEO, briefs the CEO and the Board, identifies risks and risk solution options. The CFO manages the Controller, the Director of Finance, and their staff, using Deltek Costpoint as the financial consolidation database for this successful high growth corporation.
Position Description:
- Develops the corporate Roll up solution for quarterly and YE financials.
- Prepares cash flow monthly projection.
- Evaluates profit issues and solution for each business sector; briefs the CEO quarterly.
- Evaluates business sector waterfalls for profit compliance and revenue growth target compliance.
- Analyzes corporate compliance with foreign operating requirements and integrates reports with S3 reporting.
- Analyzes IRS evaluations of S3 and subsidiary corporate plans such as 401(k) compliance.
- Accountable for all aspects of corporate accounting operations and oversees all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting for P&L and quality control.
- Provides leadership over the controller responsible for Billing and Payout Operations.
- Analyzes company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets and indirect rates.
- Issues regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
- Provides strategic guidance for capital financing options to support company growth needs.
- Develops and coordinates all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
- Develops and maintains all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensures that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assists senior management in financial planning, results management, and works with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and defines appropriate reports for tracking.
- Coordinates, prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Coordinates tax schedules, returns and information.
- Manages relationships with insurance providers and ensures compliance.
- Manages all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.
- Completes travel to designated locations as defined, CONUS and OCONUS, and executes OCONUS finance requirements as needed.
- Improves the accounting department quality compliance through developing metrics.
- Advises executive management inprofit enhancement measures.
- Completes other finance and administrative duties as directed.
