Clayton Services is searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the company's overall financial strategy, management, and health. This includes overseeing financial planning, reporting, risk management, and investment strategies.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $225,000-$275,000/year plus discretionary bonus

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy.
- Oversee the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize financial resources and ensure the efficient allocation of funds.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Present financial reports to the board of directors, executive team, and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and manage financial risks.
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation measures are in place.
- Oversee investment activities and manage the company's portfolio.
- Develop and implement capital raising strategies, including equity and debt financing.
- Evaluate and manage mergers, acquisitions, and other investment opportunities.
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the company in financial and regulatory matters.
- Communicate the company's financial performance and strategies to stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA and CPA are required
- Experience working at a large accounting firm is required
- Experience working with international entities and transactions is required
- Experience with production tax credits is a plus
- Private equity/IPO experience is a plus
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
