Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting team.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Establish and develop relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
- Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
- Lead and coordinate efforts for process improvement in all areas of responsibility.
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation.
- Manage capital assets
- Assist the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
- Provide tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Direct-to-store (DSD) or food service
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management and performance management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- High level of commercial acumen and a track record of leading strategic initiatives.
