Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Equity Ownership Position - G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT

Job Summary

G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT is a growing multimedia and entertainment company seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position offers a unique opportunity to join our leadership team and be an integral part of shaping the financial strategy of our expanding business. As a CFO, you will hold 2.5% equity ownership in the company, earning dividends and distributions based on profits and growth.

We are looking for a finance leader who is passionate about building something special and long-lasting. There is no salary for this position, but as the business grows, so will your financial rewards through profit-sharing mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
• Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Lead fundraising efforts and manage relationships with potential investors.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and capital allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with the CEO and COO to drive growth and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role, ideally within a startup or fast-growing company.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling businesses.
• Must be local to Los Angeles, CA for in-person meetings and engagement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic decisions.
• Experience working in the media, entertainment, or similar industries is a plus.
