Chief Financial Officer - Venteon

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER for a growing Financial Services client company located in Southeast Michigan. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for developing a highly effective and efficient team and department to service all financial affairs of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS of the Chief Financial Officer ( CFO ) role

• CPA Designation is highly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience
• Financial Services / Banking industry experience
• Ability to interact at all levels of an organization

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Chief Financial Officer

• Analyze various financials and statistics in all areas of operations and make recommendations for efficient operation and growth.
• Works as a strategic partner with the CEO and the leadership team to address opportunities for growth while maintaining discipline in cost management, financial management, near and long-term forecasting and strategic planning, and reporting
• Oversees, analyzes, and directs budgeting, auditing, accounting, purchasing, and insurance activities
• Analyzes the organization s financial position and issues monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on financial stability, liquidity, and growth
• Leads accounting team members to maximize productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the department
• Develops and enforces financial policies to ensure proper compliance, internal controls, and accounting for all assets and securities
• Directs the investment activities as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of the organization
• Maintains the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules on the FAS software for general journal entries; ensures proper recording of new purchases
• Other duties as assigned
