What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with Director of Preconstruction to maintain existing relationships, build new relationships within existing and potential clients.
• Assist in the establishment of win strategies through engagement with estimate kickoff process and estimate review process.
• Collaborate with Director of Preconstruction on the RFP process developing fee proposals, team selection, and attending interview process as needed.
  
  

What You Need for this Position

• 7+ years of preconstruction experience for a commercial/multifamily general contractor.
• Proven track record of success in working in team or management of estimating/preconstruction (or similar) departments.
• Estimating experience with various estimating types and project scales.
• BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Microsoft Suite Excel, Word, and Outlook, Projects
• Sage Estimating Software
• Viewpoint Software
• On-Screen Takeoff or Dimension
• Conceptual ability to work with minimal information and quickly develop an understanding of the estimate requirements to develop conceptual estimates.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work on several projects at the same time.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to moderate communication based on various communication environments.
• Ability & confidence to work directly with clients.
• Negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in management of company personnel.
• Adaptability/Flexibility
