We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chief Compliance & Risk Officer (CCRO) to become a vital part of our Executive Team. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to shape the future of compliance and risk management for our bank and its mortgage subsidiary.
As the CCRO, you will lead the charge in ensuring our Compliance Management System (CMS) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program are not just operational, but thriving. You'll build upon our solid foundation, infusing it with fresh vision and strategic direction. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding a team of dedicated compliance professionals.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing education, training, and resources to foster an environment of ethical conduct and compliance. You'll also serve as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer Chair, leading the CRA Management Committee.
The ideal candidate will have a background in senior management within a community or regional bank or as a Chief Compliance/Risk Officer in a community bank setting. Deep expertise in banking regulations and residential mortgage operations is essential. While certifications like CRCM or CERP are preferred, they are not mandatory.
