Description
Driver on Demand "(DOD)" is one of the largest providers of outsourced personnel to the automotive industry and consumer-oriented transport companies. DOD provides high quality drivers to progressive local auto dealers and manufacturers that are focused on a new level of customer experience and innovation.
We are seeking enthusiastic professional drivers to safely operate test vehicles in a wide range of testing conditions and follow detailed instructions for vehicle and component preparation to begin testing. A driver must be able to drive safely in various conditions, follow policies and take ownership for working safely to avoid risks to self and others. Think you are up for the challenge? Pay: Earn $19/hr
Schedule: Full-Time shift between 8am - 4pm (Mon - Fri)
Incentive: Sign-on Bonus - $200 for 80 shift hours completed
Key Responsibilities
- Service valet pickup and delivery trips
- Driving Sprinter Vans
- Dealer trades
- Vehicle inventory transport (including onsite lot moves)
- Onsite vehicle movement
- Vehicle washing (limited to interior vacuuming)
- Vehicle charging
- Following driving routes and time schedules
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Interact with clients professionally at all times
- Exceptional customer service
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Valid in-state driver’s license required
- Independent Contractor position (1099)
- Motor Vehicle Report with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug test
- Own an iPhone with iOS 13+ or Android with 11+ operating system
- Has had a valid driver's license for 5+ years
- Must be tech savvy (navigate while using an app)
- Ability to sit/drive for up to 8 hours consecutively
- A positive reliable person who is trustworthy and takes pride in their work
- Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of trips and stay on schedule
