Job Details
MUST HAVES:
- Method development for mass spectrometry and GC (Gas Chromatography)
- Sample preparation and cleanup
- General method development
- Focus on method development instead of production
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Ph.D or Masters in Analytical Chemistry
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Data Management and reporting
- Team Management
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide project planning, resource planning, budget generation, and performance to budget
- Demonstrate technical expertise by spearheading method and application development.
- Candidates with active security clearance or the ability to obtain one are preferred
- Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation for applications.
- Test planning and reporting
- Uphold quality standards and analyze data generated by fellow chemists and engineers.
- Troubleshoot and optimize methods for customer applications
- Engage in collaborative efforts with engineers to enhance instrument design and functionality.
- Prepare standards, dilutions, and samples.
