About the Opportunity
The Chemical LabOperator analyzesthe chemical concentrationof all chemical processes, using laboratory instruments and equipment, toensure that all jobs are processedin accordance withwork instructionsand Standard Operating Procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Review and become familiar with SOPs, work instructions, and follow Manager's direction to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform Ionic contamination testing.
- Perform X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) testing.
- Prepare testing samples and perform analytical testing to check chemical concentration based on Truechem schedule.
- Record and maintain PAL, Log, and test results. Review lab results and consult with the Manager and Process Engineer if any addition, new make-up, or bailout is needed.
- Perform routine scheduled Chemical PMs which include the removal of spent baths, spent rinse water baths and the makeup of fresh baths (per instructions) and rinse baths.
- Keep inventory of chemicals and all other laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Assist Wastewater Treatment Department as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, communicate and understand documents such as Travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions, and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft office
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Required)
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of chemical laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds, and frequent twisting/turning and reaching outward.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Shift Available:
2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 4:00 pm-12:30 am
**Please Note: Successful candidate must be available to train during 1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)
