Chemical Engineer Co-Op - Stryten Energy

Stryten Energy is part of a launch of a new company named Storion Energy. Storion is an innovative stored energy components and solutions provider focusing on LDES (Long Duration Energy Storage) flow batteries.

Storion's new production facility and operations lab is located north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. This is a paid Co-Op position with the expectation students will rotate semesters between work and school. We are looking for Chemical Engineering students for a Co-Op beginning summer/fall of 2025.

Responsibilities and assignments may include:

• Working on product development
• Hands on testing in the R&D Lab
• Data processing and analysis
• Chemical Process design, control, and operation development
• Kinetics determination and modeling
• Unit operation design/equipment specification
• Process documentation
• Material compatibility testing
• Many more exciting and challenging experiences

Past Co-Ops gained knowledge in experimental design (DOE), R&D processes and professional development.

We are looking for students:

• Working towards BS in Chemical Engineering
• With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
• You must have housing and transportation
• The position is required to work onsite daily
