About the Job
We're seeking a talented and experienced Chef Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Chef Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality food is served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, and presentation
- Manage and develop a team of culinary staff
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop and implement innovative menus that meet dietary and nutritional requirements
- Control food costs and labor expenses
- Maintain inventory and food ordering systems
- Collaborate with management to achieve operational goals
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Sous Chef in a high-volume foodservice environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in food cost control, labor control and inventory management
- Culinary expertise and creativity
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Microsoft Office and Computer literacy
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Preferred
