This is a working chef position in the kitchen. Managing the daily operations of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and direction to all kitchen personnel. Ensures that all recipes, food preparations and executions meet brand specifications and quality standards. Managing all foodservice production operations. Always leading by example. Teaching to educate on the standard of exceeding our guests' expectations. Maintain and update recipe books. Create schedule for team. Manage prep lists, waste logs, bakery, temp logs, all food standards are achieved. Manage team to ensure KCDH guidelines are continuously. Works collaboratively with Banquet sous chef, Catering sales to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, and communicated effectively. Works collaboratively with the kitchen team to coordinate prep lists Responsible for updating BEO catering board, communicate changes with team efficiently, Basic math and understanding of culinary measurements. Create and execute recipes for all areas of
- -Prior kitchen experience.
- -Vast understanding of King County food handling requirements.
- -Current Food Handlers card.
- Serv-safe 360 certified
- Ability to work in a high energy / fast paced environment for 8 or more hours per day x 5 or more days per week.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Communication skills.
- Organization and leadership skills.
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including stoves, refrigeration, slicer, knives, and dish machine..
- Create orders for vendors, sourcing ingredients that adhere to the quality standards of the company
- Communicate equipment and supply needs timely. Maintaining the kitchen equipment is good working order. Communicating repair needs to management.
- Ensures successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and the company.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED; 5 years' experience in foodservice operations FOH, BOH.
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years' experience. Combined management experience in Catering, or Foodservice Industry.
