Join a dynamic, downtown Napa, California, food and beverage team that manages Charlie Palmer Steak, Sky & Vine Rooftop Bar and Whiskey Bar set within Archer Hotel Napa.
Charlie Palmer Steak showcases a signature progressive American style — for breakfast, happy hour and dinner. Mornings are amplified with favorite javas from Napa's own cult Ohm Coffee Roasters' full-service coffee bar. Dinner features artisanal beef, seafood and vegetarian options under the influence of local wine country flavors.

Job overview
Our Dining Room Managers help deliver an exceptional experience for our team members and guests every day. They oversee the day-to-day operations of their restaurant with the goal of delivering excellence in all areas of service and hospitality and providing the highest quality food and beverage to our guests. They take pride in developing our people and providing opportunity for growth.
The day-to-day
- Coordinate, supervise and direct all restaurant operations in conjunction with the General Manager to maintain a profitable and high-quality operation, with exceptional service levels.
- Monitors work performance of staff and trains and develops Associates through one-on-one discussions, performance evaluations so that they excel in their current role and are prepared for future career opportunities.
- Maintain revenue and payroll budgets; meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.
- Ensure that all personnel and systems function efficiently so that guests' expectations are surpassed.
- Operate, manage, oversee and supervise all aspects of operations on a daily basis.
- Promotes excellent guest service and handles guest concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Communicate and execute directives from corporate senior management.
- Assists with marketing promotional programs to build restaurant sales.
- Ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the highest standard of all license and health department requirements.
- Performs and understands managerial
- Maintain budget costs of goods, labor and operations.
- Maintain balance between administrative duties without compromising presence and visibility on the floor.
- Maintain regulatory compliance.
- Consistently follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company in relevant professional organizations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or deemed necessary for effective business operations.

- Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling.
- Determined to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Driven to ensure that customer service is held to a high standard and that dining experiences surpass guest expectations.
- A plus: Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A must: Minimum of 1 - 3 years' management experience in a fast-paced dining establishment.
