About the Job
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, the Charge Nurse (RN) of the Women's Unit works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes. This includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s). May provide direct patient care.

Qualifications:- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire.
- Registered Nurse-NM Credential
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Regional Critical Access Hospitals:
Other emergency response training in addition to those listed below may be required by Director of Patient Care.
Critical Care: ACLS
Emergency Department: ACLS, PALS
Family Birthing Center: NRP and Fetal Monitoring
Operating Room: ACLS
- Provides clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety and direction of unit staff in designated service area.
- Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of all patients in service area.
