The Channel Sales Specialist position is responsible for growth and expansion of sales and profit margins within the US (mostly central US) on products or services by working with channel partners. Establishes professional relationships with key channel partner representatives in accounts within the territory. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
The Channel Sales Specialist position is critical in managing account growth via channel partners. The Channel Sales Specialist must build and maintain channel relationships while driving sales growth; must identify and drive sales opportunities through all LMS applications (excluding Medical). This role is responsible for complete product portfolio under Life Science and Applied business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase Sales through Channel Partners: Collaborate with channel partners to co-prospect new customers, recommend appropriate Leica microscopy products, and implement growth strategies to drive sales within the assigned territory.
Product and Application Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on Leica's routine microscopy solutions, helping partners understand and promote the full product portfolio, positioning Leica as the premier brand in their catalog offerings.
Upskill and Support Partners: Ensure that channel partner representatives are trained and knowledgeable about Leica products, identifying cross-selling opportunities across product lines and business divisions where partners are focused.
Field Sales and Customer Engagement: Engage in direct field sales activities, following up on leads, attending tabletop shows/ trade shows, and maintaining relationships with contacts across government, academic, pharmaceutical, and industrial accounts, helping partners address customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
CRM and Internal Collaboration: Keep the Salesforce CRM up to date with relevant sales activities and collaborate effectively with internal teams-Sales, Product, Customer Service, Engineering, and others-to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
YOUR Profile
Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry, or a related scientific field
3+ years successful selling products of a technical nature
Demonstrated core understanding of Microscopy / Imaging / Application
Relationship Building with channel partners; Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Knowledge of specific area of work (Commercial, Government, University, Industry etc.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel 75% overnight within the US.
Must have a valid driver's license.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
