Organizational Change Manager II
Overview:
Develops and delivers organizational change management strategies and plans for moderate to highly complex projects. Focuses on the people side of change, including changes to processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Drives faster employee adoption and long-term change sustainability. Supports change management at the Bank-wide level by facilitating the advancement of change management methodologies, capabilities and skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach, consult and educate Change Management Leads assigned by the areas of business
- Apply structured change management approach and tools to develop change strategies and plans to support the adoption and value realization of moderate to highly complex change initiatives
- Serve as primary liaison to the change sponsor, project manager, overall project team, and stakeholders; provide guidance to enhance change effectiveness
- Oversee multiple change project schedules, associated budgets, and resources; integrate change management activities and tasks into project plan
- Build and maintain a variety of mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships that advance change management effectiveness especially at senior leadership levels and with external partners
- Conduct and analyze a variety of assessments including stakeholder assessment, change impact analyses, and change readiness
- Identify, analyze and develop tactics to mitigate change barriers and resistance and enable change readiness
- Engage and coach senior leaders on effective change leadership
- Direct or complete the development, delivery and management of communications. Work with corporate and line of business communications teams as needed
- Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs or learning resources. Work with Learning & Development teams
- Define and measure business readiness and success metrics and monitor change progress. Gather qualitative and quantitative data through survey development, focus groups, interviews, and other feedback mechanisms
- Develop and facilitate the implementation of change sustainability and business transition plans
- Adapt to new projects and stakeholders when the subject matter is unfamiliar
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Company's brand
- Maintain Company's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in a change management, learning and development, employee communications, or product or project management role, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years experience in a change management, learning and development, employee communications, or product or project management role
- Proven experience applying change management principles, methodologies and tools to deliver on projects' desired business outcomes
- Evidence of leading medium-sized, moderate impact change initiatives
- Experience clearly communicating complex concepts in a simple manner
- Experience communicating verbally and in writing with senior management on status of initiatives
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated history of delivering quality on time
- Experience handling multiple tasks
- Experience working under time constraints in support of various initiatives
- Advanced experience with pertinent word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management and email software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Corporate Communications, or Change Management
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dedicated change management role
- Change management certification or designation
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experienced in team collaboration and file-sharing applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Banking/financial industry experience
