Project Overview: At the client, we believe that strong organization change management (OCM) ensures a seamless transition to, and strong adoption of, new ways of working. We have an exciting opportunity for an OCM consultant in our Information Technology department.
Contractor’s Role:
The OCM consultant leads OCM efforts for small to medium change initiatives, drives the assessment of stakeholder change impacts in order to create comprehensive change strategies and plans, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communications plans. The OCM Consultant also supports larger, transformational efforts through creation of key deliverables, messaging, and related change activities. Additionally, the OCM Consultant helps enable OCM practices through participation and contribution to IT’s OCM Center of Excellence.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• (Primary focus) Create/develop related change deliverables (including, but not limited to champion networks, communications, branding/marketing, and training), ensuring clearly articulated messages that prepare and motivate partners for adopting the change, and resources that provide partners the knowledge and ability necessary to successfully adopt the implemented changes.
• Understand goals for the change and translate them into impacts to the organization.
• For change initiatives, assess stakeholder change impacts and provide leadership in development of strategy and plans for business readiness including process change, training, and communications. Plan should be comprised of activities that leverage multiple channels, ensure appropriate support from key sponsors, and seamlessly transition individuals through the change lifecycle.
• Influence and guide other employees through the change management process.
• Ensure messaging is aligned with objectives of the initiative, the department, and the enterprise.
• Build metrics to monitor engagement and readiness for change.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Organization Change, Organization Development, Communications, or related field (or equivalent years of experience, education and/or training)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00
