- Position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, problem solving, preventative maintenance, service, and repair of all chambers onsite.
- Perform all job functions in a high quality, efficient and timely manner.
- Work as a member of a team and assists team members as needed.
- Make recommendations to supervisor on process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform high quality, efficient, and timely repair and preventative maintenance as assigned through Jira service ticket system.
- Identify maintenance risks of equipment and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults of chamber systems.
- Ensure high quality levels/standards in all work performed and follows all safety procedures and requirements within the QMS.
- Train & instruct internal team members, on proper installation, service/repair procedures for current & new equipment/machines and processes.
- Consult with other team members, internal departments, and/or external vendors to resolve issues related to installation, service, and repair of equipment.
- Accurately documents, completes, and reports required information for work records and reports.
- Continuously reviews current processes and searches out improvement methods. Recommends modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to interpret Test Standards, technical knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, and manufacture’s operational specifications
- High School Diploma required. Associates degree, technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Electrician degree from a technical college or trade school preferred, completion of electrician apprenticeship, or previous job experience conducting electrical work.
- Previous environmental chamber maintenance is preferred with a minimum of two years of experience in maintenance and repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and supporting environmental chambers equipment.
- Previous Commercial HVAC refrigeration experience or recent graduate of Accredited commercial refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning school
- EPA Section 608 Certified for proper handling refrigerant techniques. Understanding of procedures necessary to recover refrigerants, replace compressors, condensers, motors, and other A/C, Refrigeration components.
- Understanding of variable frequency drives, and programmable controllers.
- Strong mechanical maintenance and operational working knowledge.
- Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as schematics or manuals.
- Experience working within a facility ticketing system preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain an effective status update in order to communicate with the ticket owner
- Strong safety preparedness and behaviors preferred.
- Demonstrated self-starter with effective planning and organization skills.
- Overnight travel may be required to support other divisions.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
