Job Details
AS VP Finance you will lead and grow a lean, high-performing finance team which
oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis and tax
compliance.
Reporting to the CEO, you will:
● Oversee preparation of Financial Statements - P&L, BS and Cash Flow
● Work closely with CEO and Executives on strategic initiatives to drive the business
forward
● Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls
● Develop detailed revenue, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
● Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
● Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating
financial data; recommending plans
● Guide the budgeting and forecasting processes at the corporate and departmental
levels that lead to predictability and consistency in forecasting; develop a
harmonious rhythm for our monthly and annual financial reporting to key
stakeholders
● Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; providing information
to external auditors
● Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Operations, Supply
Chain, Sales and Marketing
● Liaison with tax accountants, auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, lawyers, etc.
● Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and
new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to
requirements
● Maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
● Use data to improve decision-making, promote reporting, data sharing, and the
analysis of metrics; translate data into relevant insights and operational
opportunities
● Coach and mentor the Finance team
● Lead communication with investor relations, including drafting board
communications and fundraising materials
Requirements:
● 15+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience
● Experience across working capital in Supply Chain business: Managing working
capital via Open to Buy, ability to predict working capital strain in a fast growing
supply chain business with a nuanced understanding of the interplay of AR, AP and
inventory purchases
● 10+ years of experience in high growth start-ups, investment banking, venture
capital or private equity
● Extensive experience leading an organization through rapid growth, including
several rounds of fundraising
● ERP Implementation and transformation experience is an asset
● Strong leadership and Management skills
● Experience in scaling a business
● M&A experience

automation
