Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CFO Compliance Specialist to join our team at Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C. to provide budget analysis, complex issue resolution to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Mid Special Programs CFO Act Compliance Specialist
Individual will be key member of a team performing DoD Agency Financial Statements Audit readiness and remediation services to the United States Government. Position will entail monitoring and resolving audit findings, developing and presenting approaches/methods to refine and implement critical business processes, and identifying solutions to satisfy compliance with the continually changing Federal Government accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
+ Review and comprehend the DoD full financial statement audit findings and action plans resulting in new procedures and policies
+ Work with the CFO Team to understand audit findings and assess effect on the business processes
+ Develop process to incorporate new procedures and policies into the Audit Compliance portal (Sharepoint-Like” web-based Resource)
+ Recommend process improvements for existing business operations and help drive the implementation of the new and improved process
+ Communicate the new processes and procedures to the multiple sites via visits or the annual symposium
+ Coordinate business process activities with the Contractor CFO Team, Operations Team, and the Government Program Management
+ Perform operations tasks assigned and complete by the agreed upon date
+ Maintain an understanding of the changes/updates to Federal Accounting Regulations and determine if the organization’s business process requires modifications
+ Provide detailed verbal and written responses to Site personnel business process inquiries
+ Be knowledgeable of DoD regulations included in the following:
+ DoD BIO (Business Integration Office) end-to-end (E2E) business processes
+ DOD FMR (Financial Management Regulation)
+ DoDI (Instruction)
+ Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS)
+ FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation)
+ FIP (Financial Improvement Program)
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 7+ years in experience in federal accounting and business processes with experience in auditing and/or audit remediation a plus
+ 4-year degree
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Able to travel within the organizational area of responsibility (15% travel)
+ Possess ability to interact with multiple personnel to resolve issues and answer questions
+ Develop and perform briefings for Government Program Management
+ Be flexible and display ability to move to tasks as assigned and quickly gain understanding of the effort required
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Visio, and Excel)
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have a current/active Secret, JAFAN eligible
The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00-$108,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
