The CFO will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust financial health, integrity, and compliance with all accounting standards. This position will play a key role in setting the company's financial direction, managing risks, and providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and board.

OVERVIEW OF THE CFO ROLE:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, ensuring the company’s financial goals are met.
• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO, executive team, and board on financial matters.
• Analyze and report on financial performance, offering actionable insights for cost reduction and profit maximization.
• Manage investor relations, fundraising, and financial communications with stakeholders.
• Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices, leveraging your audit background to maintain financial integrity.
• Drive process improvements and automation in financial operations.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CFO:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CFA, or other certifications preferred).
• Audit experience is preferred: 5+ years in audit, with exposure to financial statements, internal controls, risk management, or similar functions.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management or CFO role.
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and corporate finance.
• Deep understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
