Compensations: $70,000 - $80,000 + benefits and bonus

Job Function:

We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspectorto join our client’s team in North Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the fabrication and erection of structural steel projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications, using visual and non-destructive testing methods.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures to verify structural and procedural accuracy.
• Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and document findings in detailed inspection reports.
• Oversee welder qualifications, ensure proper material handling, and maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues while upholding workplace safety and quality assurance initiatives.
